Our Precious New Addition

Our Little Cody Brent Mason
I hope you know how much you are loved.
You never know how much love
You can have until you become a
Mom.

Thank you Auntie Stacey for taking these cute pics for me!!
If anyone is interested in pics, My sister in law is AWESOME!!
Let me know and I'll give you her information!

TRICK OR TREAT!!!

Happy LATE Halloween

Well if you have ever been to my house, you know all about my huge trees.
What a mess they are this time of year! They are so beautiful in the summer,
and provide my entire yard with shade, witch saves us on our electric bill because we don't have to crank up the AC. But every good thing has a down fall........ And boy oh boy does it all fall down. Thankfully Grandma Cindy came and saved Joel from all the work. She is so good to our family, and we love her to death. Parker decided that he needed to help to. I am not sure if he helped or hindered but he sure had fun jumping in the leaves. After 3 trailer loads to the waste yard later, the job is done.

Cody Brent Mason

Added by Stacey! Steph and I Wanted to post so everyone can see the new addition!

After waiting and waiting Steph went into the doctors office on her due date October 29th and found out that she was far enough along to get started. She went right over the the hospital. They were very busy and she did not get her on Pitocin until 12:20. She got her epidural about three hours later and at 9:48 PM had a beautiful baby boy.

Cody Brent Mason! He is so cute...

We all agreed that he looks like Joels dad... Grampa Mason.

He immediatley got his fingers to his mouth.

He has a good grip already. Look he got a hold of the oxygen tube.

Proud Mom and Dad.

Proud Aunt Stacey! I was so grateful Steph wanted me to be there. I love babies. Nothing better.

He loves his fingers. He had them in his mouth all the time.

He is for sure a keeper. He has a lot of dark brown hair. Weighed in at 6 lbs and 12 oz. Just a little squirt! We had bets. I lost! I thought he would be bigger than Parker. I think we all did. He was 18 1/2 inches long. Steph was so strong. She had an hour that her epidural quit working and she was so strong. Joel was wonderful to her during Labor and it was great to watch them celebrate and enjoy this new baby.

Thanks again to Joel and Steph for sharing this wonderful baby with us all! We love you!

Happy Birthday My Little Man

I cannot believe that my little Parker is 2! Oh how time FLYS!
It seems like just yesterday we were in the hospital greeting our little man into the world.
And now we are waiting for his little brother, and having a birthday party!!

I decided that we were going to have a Halloween party theme this year! It was so much fun watching all the kids with the Witches Brew! We made home made root beer in a cauldron with the dry ice. Everyone thought that that was so neat! And it sure tasted GOOD!

Mom decided to make a pinata instead of buying one. It was Frankenstein if you were wondering. All the kids got a chance to smack at him. Parker was not really into it, until dad showed him that there was CANDY inside.

Well lets just say Parker is a very spoiled 2 year old!
Mom and dads gifts:
5 Different types of dinosaurs
Large rocking horse
Sponge Bob tooth brush
Mickey Mouse outfit
Big set of bath tub toys
Uncle Brent and Aunt Stacey:
A John Deer Tractor
Aunt Britt & Aiden:
An animal farm John Deer tractor
Aunt Kandie& Uncle Jason:
A cute Lighting McQueen hat and shirt
Nemo cup
A DUDE!! (turtle form nemo)
And lots of hugs
Grandma Cindy:
$100 worth of new pictures of me!
A new John Deer Hoodie
A couple pairs of pj's
Grandma Peggy:
Lighting McQueen Hoodie
Lighting McQueen bedding
And a cool Snow Globe
Thank you to all my family and friends who could share my big day with me! I love all my toys, and gifts! Thank You for loving and caring about me so much! I am very lucky to have a family like you!

By the end of dinner, cake and ice cream, pinata, presents, running, screaming, and chasing, I was READY TO GO HOME AND NAP!!
As you can see...... ha ha ha!!

He Bloomed And Grew! And Now He's 2!!

To my favorite little Megg! I know how hard it is to understand things when your so small so I found you this picture to help you understand a little more. Aunt Stephanie has a baby growing in her belly just like this. Once you were in your mommy's tummy too! Can you believe that?? And know your a BIG BIG girl. I wanted you to see and understand, and pretty soon my baby will come out of my tummy and you can hold him and play with him. We are going to name the new baby Cody Bruce Mason. What do you think about that? I love you Megg! Call me after you see this, I want to hear what you think.
Love Auntie Stephanie
(PS Sorry about the graphic wordings mom!!)
Guess what I am going to be for Halloween??! Parker LOL!!
Grandma Cindy came over the other day holding a Shopko bag and a little pitch fork. Curious little Parker opens the bag to find his Halloween costume. Immediately Parker wanted to put it on and show off his stuff! It was the cutest thing in the world. He thought that he was the coolest kid! He ran around outside showing off for all the neighbors and posing for pictures. We cannot wait for trick or treating time. This will be the first year Joel and I will have the opportunity to watch Parker actually enjoy and understand Halloween and trick or treating! We are ecstatic!!!!! Hopefully baby Cody will make it in time so his big brother can show him the ropes!!

Happy October!

Well, it's getting closer and closer to a very busy, EXCITING month, October!!! Joel and I have so many things in common, but one that a lot of people don't know about is our absolute LOVE for Halloween. Now don't take that the wrong way, we are not devil worshipers or freaks, but just the holiday itself. We love the fall weather and atmosphere, the beautiful colors that the trees turn, dressing up, the good ghost stories, having children come trick or treating to our home, being children ourselves and going trick or treating with Parker, and decorating our house scary. WE LOVE IT!! This year I put my Halloween decorations out the first week of September. I got a lot of crap for it but that's okay.
Also in October I am having our second little boy. I am due October 29Th. We are so so excited! Parker doesn't quite get the concept when we try to show him and explain to him that we are having a baby, but we show him babies and he absolutely loves them. He's so sweat with them, but who knows how he's going to act when the new brother is taking up mommy and Parker time.... We might have a full on WAR!! lol.
Also coming up in October is our little Parker's Birthday!!! He's turning 2 October 20 th!!! Holly Cow!! Even though he is the size of most 2 1/2 or 3 year olds, he is still very much a young toddler. Bigger kids mistake him to being older, and he gets hurt sometimes. Parker has been attending a lot of soccer games lately and he has got it all figured out. He gets in there with the older kids and plays kick the ball around and around. But he doesn't understand why when the game starts back up, why he cannot go play to. He's so funny.
And last but not least is the hunting season starts for Joel.... OH AND ME!!! In January, Joel and I put in for our hunts not knowing that I would be having a baby at the same time! CRAP!! So of coarse we both draw out a deer tag. I have been saying since I found out that we were having a baby, and knowing about the deer hunt, that I would be a good sport and go along. WRONG!!! FORGET IT!! NO FRAEKING WAY BUDDY!! LOVE YA BUT HELL NO!! LOL!! I am 6 weeks from my due date today, September 18th, and am already so uncomfortable, so going hiking all over the mountains and shooting, and gutting a deer.... HMMM.... Nope!! Sorry bud!
Well thanks for taking the time to catch up with our busy life, and I promise to keep you all updated on our progress throughout the next few months.

BOYS WILL BE BOYS

We went camping with a few of Joel's family members. Parker, Joel and I went fishing. Parker loved it!! He has his own fishing pole and he's a PRO!! He watched daddy very carefully, then knew everything to do!(Cast the pole 2 feet in front of him, nearly hook himself and everyone else, and loose his power bait all in about 3 seconds) LOL!! Really though it was so much fun. We really enjoy giving Parker every opportunity to do things on his own as much and safely as possible. I really look forward to the weeks to come when Parker finally meets his new little brother. He's going to be such a good big brother.

Gidde Up Cowboy

Well I think this looks GOOD!! ha ha ha!! Joel's family reunion was at Otter Creek this year and we went to Bryce Canyon for a day. Joel and I stuck our head in this prop and Cindy, Joel's Mom, started to laugh hysterically!! We couldn't understand what it was that was so freaking funny so we had her take this picture.... The reason was because Joel looks so real!! He looks like that was a mold made just for him.... A perfect fit!
I cannot believe the time that has passed since the day Joel and I said our I Do's. We told each other that we would wait a few years before starting a family, Joel wanting to go to Diesel Mechanic school in Logan, UT and Stephanie wanted to go to beauty school. Then 2 months after we were married we found out that we were expecting our first baby, Parker!! Now, almost 3 years later, we have a beautiful boy, and one who will be here before we know it. If you are not aware, Stephanie is having a baby boy, Cody, October 29Th or maybe sooner.... most likely not!! lol.
We are so blessed to have such a supportive family. Stephanie's family, although far away, is such a great support to us! Parker absolutely loves his cousins, Tanner, Landon, and Megan. We try to see each other as much as possible. And Joel's family lives close by. Parker loves his JOE JOE and ABBY! We spend lots of time with them, they are always here when we need them. Parker is so LUCKY to have such a GREAT family who loves him very much. AND WE LOVE ALL OF YOU!!
I love to tickle my little man just to watch him giggle!! It's the cutest thing on the planet in my opion!! I LOVE YOU PARKER BEAR!!

Well what can i say?.... He's a boy!!!

My goodness my little man wants to be more and more grown up every time we turn around. At first he was fine just helping daddy mow, but as you can see at the bottom picture, he is pushing dad away! He's so independent these days and surprises us more and more with how smart he is! Our little Parker Bear is growing up!!

Wishing for a Girl?????

Joel was making fun of the fact that I always look for girls clothes when we are shopping. I have always threatened to dress Parker in girls clothes. When we were up at Brent and Stacey's, Joel started giving me crap and I decided it was time..... So.... I went into Meg's room and got this cute dress. Doesn't he look cute!! His dad was NOT happy. We all had to laugh because he seemed to think that he looked pretty. He was holding on to the edge of the dress and moving to make it bounce. One to remember!!!
